A need, a dream and a home made crane were the humble beginnings of Muswellbrook Cranes.
In 1958,the late Trev Hallett started his Engineering Works in Muswellbrook.
The construction of power stations and the expansion of coal mining in the Hunter Valley soon led to the need for a local mobile cranes service.
The growth of Muswellbrook Cranes since 1960 has been the dream of one man. Its success has been resulted from the work of many. Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley MCS has serviced the area for many years.
Muswellbrook Cranes was founded, owned and operated by Trev Hallett, from it's inception in 1960 until his passing in the year 2000. Since that time the Company has continued to operate in the capable hands of Trev's family (wife and three children). Since the acquisition by Tutt Bryant Group Limited, in February 2007, the Company has continued to improve it's growth rate and performance at a healthy pace . The Company has always been a community based business, continuing to contribute generously to the community from which it was formed and in which it operates today. This policy, and the extremely high business ethics of the Company as a whole, is reflected in the high esteem in which the Company is held, both amongst it's clientele, competitors, and the wider business and general communities.
The Company now has over eighty employees, and 100 vehicles. The obvious potential growth as a result of the further expansion of industries and investment in the Hunter Valley will see Muswellbrook Cranes expand well into the future.
